is it just me, or does a billion dollars feel like a made up number. Think about it, one thousand millions. Median US home price is ~250k, average family is 4 people, 16,000 Americans cost a billion dollars to house over the course of 30 years.

We have the PS3, the 360, the PC and the Mac all running at a very high frame-rate - basically all running at 60fps right now - and what's really unique is that when an artist builds an asset they don't know what they're building it for. They build the exact same model, the exact same level, and it doesn't matter what platform they're putting it on. That's a huge breakthrough.

So the rumor around the Internet today is that the reason for Rockstar's delay of GTA 4 stems from difficulties in developing for PS3. I am going to go out on a limb and state that the PS3 version of GTA may very well be a port of the Xbox 360 game. The team underestimated the difficulty in porting a complex game between these two architectures.

Recently I sold my Xbox360 on craigslist as I did not see the point in holding on to the system with no games to play. After hitting level 50 in Forza 2 and being left unimpressed by all but the F1 Ferrari, the next game that had my interest for the Xbox is Grand Theft Auto.

I still have no love for the drifting in Forza 2, and today I lost a bit more respect for it. Read this up on Turn10's Pit Pass Reports:

The Forza 2 best drift track is easily the Nissan Speedway, infield configuration. Unfortunately Forza Motorsport 2 Sucks at Drifting.
