My Growing Obsession with YouTube

So over the past several weeks I have become obsessed with YouTube.com. It started out innocent enough when David and I put up a few videos of the Mustang that we are building to compete in the Formula D ProAm and Team drift events later this year. This was with my first YouTube account (www.youtube.com/driftlive). Soon I decided that YouTube.com would be a great place to upload a bunch of the automotive video clips that I have amassed over the last several years, but not wanting to clutter the mustang channel I opened a second account on YouTube for Hot Rod Homepage (www.youtube.com/hotrodhomepage).

As more people have begun to view my videos, I have made a few observations about YouTube:

  1. Get Friends and Family to sign up to YouTube
  2. Make them comment on and favorite your videos
  3. Favorites and Comments Lead to Honors
  4. Honors Lead to Massive amounts of views
  5. Massive amounts of views leads to a beautiful sense of YouTube celebrity

So if you are a friend or family, or simply love to watch YouTubes, take a second and sign up for YouTube. Once you are signed up don't forget to subscribe to my channels (www.youtube.com/driftlive and www.youtube.com/hotrodhomepage) and favorite a few of my videos.

Maybe with any luck DriftLive can become the next Jessica Rose, of course I am not sure how well a website would do in an episode of ABC Families "GREEK," but achieving Fame Beyond YouTube could be cool.
